Daniel Wenzl
Growing up in Southern Ontario his childhood was spent on the shores of Lake Huron. While spending the summers snorkelling off the side of dive boats he fostered a love for the water. He learned to dive early and spent every available moment in the water. In 2018 he traveled to Gansbaai South Africa to volunteer, conducting research on many shark species and their behaviour. This cemented his love for shark and his drive to protect them. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelors Degree in Marine Biology and Ocean Science in 2023. He started Unicorn Shark Laboratories in an attempt to create a platform that can provide education, awareness, information, and meaningful change to some of the largest problems facing our oceans today.
